Everyone meet Mongo, he came to GSRA after being picked up as a stray with Sherman. Hard to believe these poor babies were left to fend for themselves. Thankfully GSRA was able to find space for them, and they are now ready to find their own families. Mongo’s a ball of sweet fuzziness who has mastered the art of being a super snuggler, he loves people and is learning to be more confident interacting with the large male and female dogs he’s currently living with. He’s a playful, fun guy who will likely be 70ish lbs as an adult. Mongo has a big personality and will sing for his dinner and then run as fast as he can to get to his crate before his food bowl, he takes his time eating and savors every bite. When he naps his legs are straight out in both front and back making it look like he’s melted into the floor. Mongo is just a baby and working hard on potty training, sleeping through the night and is now starting to experience the big world on leash walks, he has short car rides everyday with no issues and slept through two 4 hour rides like a champ. Mongo would be fine with children over the age of 8 and is probably young enough to learn to live with dog savvy cats.
