Hi! I’m Misty — a young bi-color German Shepherd girl with a gentle heart and a growing sense of confidence. It was scary when my world changed suddenly and I found myself at a shelter, but thanks to kind humans and time to decompress in rescue, I’ve learned that I’m safe again — and that’s made all the difference.
Now that I’ve had time to settle in, my true personality is shining through. I’m sweet, social, and very people-oriented. I love adults and kids alike and am gentle and patient with children who want to pet me or sit close. Being near my people makes me happiest, whether we’re hanging out or heading into the next adventure together.
I’m friendly with other dogs of all sizes and genders and truly enjoy canine companionship. Playtime is a highlight of my day — running, chasing, and wrestling — followed by a nice, calm nap once the fun is over. I fit in easily and don’t play favorites; if you’re kind and welcoming, I’m happy to be part of the group.
