I want to be very upfront about this because of the financial burden it may be to take him. He has to have prescription dog food for GI issues and Apoquel for his skin issues (running us about $450 or so a month). He can be very anxious as well so he takes Fluoxetine daily. He also needs regular baths with medicated shampoo.
We have already reached out to several rescues and have gotten little to no response. We do not want him to go to a pound/shelter. We are not in a position financially to continue to care for him like he needs. Would love for him to go somewhere with lots of space to run and play!
He does not bark at anyone, ever, has never even growled at anyone or anything! The absolute sweetest boy.
Jett is approximately 5 years old. Neutered and chipped. Excellent with kids and other pets (not certain about cats). Up to date on shots. We will include everything we have for him - meds, crate, dog bed, collar, leashes, food, etc.
Will check vet references & background before rehoming. And will be asking a rehoming fee for a good home.
