Bane — the sable sweetheart learning the good life
After two weeks on his own, Bane was safely trapped by APS and is now soaking up kindness. He came in a little thin and buggy, but with care he’s feeling much better. At first he’s vocal to say “hello,” then the moment you step in his kennel he’s all lean-ins and wiggle wiggles, ready to slip on his leash for a walk. He takes treats gently, didn’t mind being handled around his food, and once he gets his sniffs in he noses you for more pets. His ears are still a bit tender from healing tick bites, so he prefers soft touches there.
With other dogs he’s relaxed and delighted to be near them—more of a watcher than a player right now, learning the ropes from his canine buddies. He knows sit and down, keeps four paws on the floor, and will need continued leash lessons to polish that pull. Stay tuned as his foster mom learns more about him.
