Pup Pup is a 1-year-old white German Shepherd with a confident, outgoing personality. Born and raised on one property, he is now ready to explore the world and find a family of his own.
Pup Pup is very friendly with people and seeks out attention right away. He is gentle when taking treats, highly food motivated, and eager to please—qualities that will make training much easier. While he has had no formal obedience training and is new to walking on a leash, he quickly responded to gentle corrections during his assessment. With consistency and guidance, this smart boy will catch on fast.
When meeting other dogs, Pup Pup can come on a bit strong at first, but he takes correction well and settles down quickly. He would do well in a home with another confident, playful dog to help show him the ropes. Pup Pup also seems comfortable around cats and did not mind when they approached him during the food test. Because he is still young and working on his manners, a home without small children would be best for now.
Pup Pup is not yet neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, or on preventatives, and he may have an ear infection that will need treatment. He is house-trained and has lived indoors, but he has not been crate trained.
This boy has all the makings of a loyal and loving family companion. With his outgoing nature, eagerness to bond, and trainable spirit, Pup Pup will thrive with an adopter who can give him structure, training, and plenty of affection.
