Ranger is an early adolescent dog, he is currently a year and two months old. He is a very quick learner, very confident and playful. He unfortunately is very mouthy and nips. He is a full-bred working line German Shepherd, I believe either East German or Czech.
We love this dog, a lot. It's with a heavy heart we have to put him up for a rehome. He's had a rough few months. In March, he was hit by a car, but has healed up almost completely but is still on anti-anxiety and pain medicine. Through no fault of his own, there are issues at home that make it not a good fit for him (am happy to explain further). We are currently working with a trainer, but if there is someone with serious German Shepherd experience and has the knowledge and patience to work with this beautiful, sometimes frustrating boy, it would truly be a blessing.
