COFFEE ~ 4 months old. Good with children and dogs. Cats TBD.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC only.Coffee was saved by a Good Samaritan who saw her listed on craigslist. She was being kept in a yard by herself covered in fleas and underweight. The good sam just could not leave her there so she took her home and then asked GSRA for help finding her a loving family. This delightful baby girl is a happy go lucky puppy. She's good with large and small dogs respectful of dogs that want to be left alone. She consistently keeps her crate dry at night and does well free roam so long as she's taken out frequently for potty breaks. She's curious jumpy and playful as you'd expect from a 16 week old. She's an excellent leash walker and does not appear to be afraid of cars passing dogs barking etc. She is not a fan of her crate and although she sleeps though the night when she's crated during the day for the mandatory growing naps she will protest loudly that she still has playing to do and energy to burn. She's a typical shepherd that likes to follow her humans everywhere. She is treat motivated.Coffee will most likely be a larger girl when she finishes growing into her ears (60-70lbs). Coffee loves her foster brothers and sisters and will need a playful companion in her forever home. A fenced yard is preferred to allow her to run off her energy. She is young enough to be trained to live with cats. This girl's about to blow up our website so if you think she's the one for you AND you can provide the type of home she needs don't wait to send in an application. She will not be here for long.PLEASE NOTE: It is GSRA policy that we do not adopt dogs under the age of 1 year to families with children under the age of 8 years old.
