I've found my furever family!

GOOSE ~6 months old. Good with dogs and cats. Kids TBD. Needs a companion animalGSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC only. Poor little Goose was picked up by Animal control with a broken femur thankfully GSRA has an awesome emergency vet partner who did surgery on his leg and after months of intensive rehab Goose is ready to find his forever family. Goose knows basic commands and is very close to being reliably potty trained. He's crate trained a good car rider and leash walker. He does have a high prey drive and loves to chase the squirrels so a fenced yard is needed. He has been cat tested and although he wasn't aggressive he definitely wanted to play with the cat so he would need cats that could tolerate his affections if they run he will chase them. He loves to play run chase and wrestle so a home with a playful companion who doesn't mind a physical player would be best. Goose has gone through a lot in his short life but he's a friendly happy easy-going boy who just wants to play steal your shoes and then nap on the couch. He is still quite mouthy so no small children. Goose is such a great dog everyone that meets him falls in love with him . PLEASE NOTE: It is GSRA policy that we do not adopt dogs under the age of 1 year to families with children under the age of 8 years old.
