I've found my furever family!

LILY ~1 yearold. Good withkids and dogs. Cats TBD.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC only.Meet Lily a young playful and engaging pup with a heart full of love! Lily's journey began when she was picked up by animal control facing the risk of euthanasia due to shelter overcrowding. Thankfully GSRA stepped in to give her the chance at a wonderful life. Despite her rough start Lily seems to have already lived the inside life. She is housebroken displays good manners and settles well after playtime. Friendly and affectionate Lily charms everyone she meets. Currently Lily shares her home with two other dogs. She is appropriately respectful with the senior dog and enjoys playful companionship with the young dog. While Lily will benefit from additional training she's off to a great start. She walks fairly well on a leash sits before meals takes corrections well and is eager to please. Lily quickly bonds with her family and is very treat-motivated making training a breeze. Lily thrives with another playful dog or an owner who can provide her with adequate exercise and playtime. After playtime she's content to chew on a Benebone/Nylaboneor relax near her people. She's a medium-energy dog who adores toys. She has a special fondness for relocating toys often preferring to move toys from the upstairs to the downstairs and vice versa. While Lily hasn't been tested with cats she could likely live with a dog-savvy cat if she has another dog for company. Lily's ideal adopter should commit to enrolling in classes and working with her to build confidence and develop her into the best companion she can be.
