I've found my furever family!

FATE ~9-12months old. Older considerate children and dogs. Cats TBD.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC onlyFate here! Since I'm almost a year old I thought I'd better update my bio. I have outgrown the chewing stage (such a childish habit!) and I have not shredded anything in my new foster home. I am a bit excited and nervous in new situations but I settle down quickly. Because I get so excited I accidentally tinkle a little bit when I come out of my crate but my new foster figured out if she doesn't talk to me or touch me or look at me I don't have an accident! She just flings the crate door open and walks away and I walk right out behind her - no tinkles!I'm a typical pup energetic and happy! I would love to have a companion dog but it is not necessary as long as you're willing to take me for walks or play with me in the yard. I don't know how to chase a ball but I'm sure I can learn and I don't much like chew toys. I do kind of like to dig so we'd need to work on that. I'm such a quick learner I figured out the dog door in one lesson. I remind the dog siblings every day that it took them a week to figure out the dog door!I'm currently living with a senior male and three young German Shepherd dogs that are all under three years old and I get along with everybody great.I'm probably crossed with spaniel or dachshund so think medium to small size. I'm pretty funny if I do say so myself and I'd love to be your couch companion (but my current foster doesn't let me on the couch so the whole couch thing would have to be between you and me).Put your application in! I'm ready to come home with you! It is GSRA policy that we do not adopt dogs under the age of 1 year to families with children under the age of 8 years old.
