I've found my furever family!

Max ~1 year old. Good with dogs and cats. Kids TBD.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC only. Max is a happy playful guy once he gets to know you. He is shy at first and does take a few treats to warm up especially with men. He is fearful of tall men. Max does much better with women. He loves other dogs and is fine with cats. He just needs a good sniff of the cat and has occasionally chased the cat if it runs. Max just wants to play and thinks that the cat is playing also he has no ill intentions! Max is house trained and crate trained. He is a very smart fellow that learned to sit and wait for his food and to go out. He sits and waits to leave his crate as well. He does love a great chew toy and there have been some softer toys that have met their demise. Max does ok on a leash he will need some work there but loves a long walk. He has done some running but due to the heat we haven't pursued that as much. Max is a cuddler he has tried to sit on my lap and if I stand still too long he will lay against my legs or on my feet. If you are looking for someone to take an evening stroll and then curl up with to watch TV then Max just may be the one you are looking for!
