TURTLE ~2 years old. Good with kids and dogs. Not good with cats.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC onlyHi I am Turtle. Yes yes yes I know my name as Turtle and it is as unique as I am. I am a bit of puppy still but I have all the basic manners that make a puppy so annoying. Will you buy my stuffies? I don't destroy them I like to carry them around and hoard them and then it is a decision as to which one I am going to bring to you. I am mostly quiet in the crate especially if you give me a stuffie. I love to go for a car ride too. I also walk well on a leash. Yes I am this good. From Turtle's foster mom:Turtle is a delightfully happy dog. She needs work in a few areas that would help her be an amazing dog. She tends to jump and counter surf. We are working on it. She doesn't tear anything up when she takes it. She is terrified of cats--so then she barks at them and gets very excited and barks. Other dogs she needs to walk with be introduced to slowly for her to feel comfortable. Turtle does like to take things at her pace which can be a little slow. She does know many of her basic commands but needs reinforcement. She isn't very treat motivated either and doesn't always take gently. Again just needs a little work like any puppy would. She does seem to settle with a moderate amount of exercise which is nice. And that stunning coat is an easy brush that she loves. Not everyone can say they have the best Turtle but the forever family for this Turtle will. Please note: Turtle is Heartworm positive and needs to go thru treatment before she is ready for a new home.
