I've found my furever family!

Let me tell you a bit about myself and see if you think I would be a good addition to your family. I am a sweet and friendly girl and am approximately 3 years old. I am very eager for attention and really like to be near my people. I have a fabulous smile and am always wagging my tail. I am a tall and lanky girl and I weigh about 61-70 Pounds. I enjoy playing ball going for walks and riding in the car. I am a very agreeable girl who is ready to participate in whatever activities you have planned....I have very good nerves and adapt quickly to new situations. I get along well with most dogs if they are willing to play with me. I do not like overly dominant dogs. I have a very short coat and very striking eyes. I do have a slight &quothitch&quot in my gait from an old injury but I will let my foster mom explain about that. I can still run and play with the best of them and am just an extremely happy girl in general. I look forward to meeting you soon!From Foster Mom:Ziva is an absolutely delightful girl. She is friendly and outgoing and very confident. She will eagerly come up to you for pets and treats. Ziva adjusts well to new stimulus and does not get rattled by exposure to new things. She is a very solid dog. Ziva came to the rescue after we were contacted about her from a rural shelter. Ziva had ended up in the shelter after being hit by a car. Her pelvis was broken in three different places. Her original owner was located. He had given her away when he had to relocate but said he would come back and get her. After a month he contacted the shelter and said he would not be able to get her after all. That is when we were contacted. Ziva's shattered pelvis had already healed to a considerable degree. She has an awkward gait as a result of the injury. The rescue had her evaluated by an orthopedic specialist. In his opinion it is better to leave it alone rather than risk additional complications by re-breaking and at tempting to &quotre-set&quot. Ziva uses the &quotinjured&quot leg and has no problems running around the yard and jumping around. There is the &quotpossibility&quot that she may require an FHO at some point in her life if the misalignment causes problems in the future. Only time will tell. Right now Ziva seems to have no adverse effects from the injury other than a slightly awkward trot.Ziva is a great girl who will flourish as an only dog with an active family or in a home with an appropriate doggie companion. Ziva likes to play with other dogs. She is a bit of a &quotrough&quot player and likes the chase game as well as the wrestling style of play. Ziva will do well with a medium to large dog that likes the same style of rough and tumble play. She will not do well with dominant dogs and will probably be too overbearing for small dogs.Ziva enjoys walks and is very well mannered on leash.
