I've found my furever family!

LUKE ~5 years old. Good with older considerate children and dogs and cats. Needs a companion animal. Good with seniors/elderly. Apartment appropriate.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC only.No words do this sweet beautiful boy justice!! He's absolutely wonderful!! Luke is great with older respectful kids age 6 and up. He is also good with cats and other medium energy respectful dogs he prefers other males. Overly dominate especially female dogs make him uneasy. Luke's only issue really is he's a bit insecure. He will need a gentle and patient but firm person to build his confidence through consistent leadership. His insecurities do surface a tad bit more with men than women however he's done well with his foster mom's hubby and adult son!! It's a matter of reading and respecting his body language. Luke LOVES the outdoors is a different more confident dog outside. He has wonderful leash manners and shows signs of easily being an off-leash candidate with some training and confidence building. Luke is wonderful indoors is perfectly housebroken crate trained has never offered to counter surf or be destructive in any way. Luke also does well in the car eagerly jumps in ready to go anywhere!! His medium energy level makes him apartment appropriate and a wonderful companion for dinner and drinks out on the town!! Luke is a true diamond in the rough is your family and home the perfect setting for him???
