AXEL ~ 2 years old. Good with dogs Kids & Cats TBD.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC only.Who is this Black Beauty you ask? Well this handsome boy is Axel. He is approx. 2 years old and just a big loveable goofy fellow. He loves being with his family. He is a bit of a Velcro pup and loves all the attention you can give. He loves being outside playing going for walks and exploring new things. He does well in the car. I believe would do well as a running partner but I personally have not tried that out. Lol. He loves playing with his toys but can be a little possessive of them. He does fine around other dogs but seems to prefer the company of his people. He would well as an only dog or as a companion for a calm dog. He hasn't shown any interest in playing with his foster canine.Axel has free reign 24/7 in the house with my pup and has done very well. The only area that is blocked off is the kitchen. Axel was very skinny when he was picked up as a stray. So as you can imagine he LOVES food. He will woof down pretty much anything he can. He is currently using a slow feed bowl to slow him down and not inhale his food. I believe that once he understands that he won't have to go hungry anymore this should settle down.Axel is a sweet loving playful boy. He would do well with a home that has a fenced yard so he can run and play. He would love an active family that loves to walk play fetch etc. He will do well as an only dog or as a companion for a calm dog. He knows some commands but would benefit from someone willing to continue to work with him. I believe he would do okay with kids but will not put him in a home with small ones because of his enthusiasm for food. So do you think this handsome boy might be what you are looking for?
