I've found my furever family!

~3.5 years old. Good with older considerate children dogs and cats. Good with farm animals. GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC only. Boe is a stunning black and tan German shepherd that found himself at the shelter after his elderly prior owner could no longer properly take care of him. Boe had been regularly harassed by the neighborhood children and could not defend himself. Unfortunately his prior owner had an underground fenced yard that allowed the children to go into Boe's safe zone. Wisely the prior owner and Harnett County Animal Shelter asked for help. Boe is cautious of new people but once he senses trust he is fine. It is preferred that he not be placed in a home with young children. It is also preferred that he is in a home with a physical fence. Boe has made great progress in the few short weeks he has been in foster care and the sky is the limit on the awesomeness this boy can bring to the right family.
