KIRRILL ~2 years old. Good with dogs. Kids and cats TBD. Needs a companion animal. Hypoallergenic. GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC only. Hi my name is Kirrill I came to GSRA via a shelter who brought me in from a breeding situation. When I arrived at the shelter I had a really bad skin infection and had lost a lot of my hair. The shelter took great care of me got me to the vet for treatment and now my hair is growing again. I am a fun loving boy I love to chase wrestle and play with my foster siblings. I am a little shy so would really like my forever home to have a playful confident pup to help me learn to be brave. From Kirrill's foster:Kirrill is a 2 year old super sweet gsd sable boy he still has some puppy manners (jumping/mouthing) that we are working on. He is crate trained house trained good in the car a decent leash walker. He is very timid around new people and places and patience will need to be provided by his forever family until he gets comfortable with them. He is good with male and female large dogs. He has not been tested with small dogs but I believe he would be fine he also should be fine with dog savvy cats. He is submissive moderate to high energy. He is recovering from his skin condition updates will be given as treatment progresses so that we will know what treatment he will need long term - if any. Like most sables Kirrill is from an Eastern European working blood line and has a high prey drive. Kirrill needs a home with a playful pup to help with his confidence and a fenced yard to burn off his energy. Kirrill is not a couch potato and will need a family that is willing to physically and mentally exercise him. Kirrill is very loving and snuggly. He is food motivated and likes to please his human family members.
