I've found my furever family!

HANK ~3 years old. Good with dogs. Kids and cats TBD.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC only. Hi! I'm Hank! I'm a sweet boy that was picked up by the Sheriff as I was wandering around. I had a chain collar imbedded in my neck. I don't like being pulled around my neck anymore. But I am able to use a harness leash!I am a big boy and laid back. I can bark but I don't. I'm very loving and love to be around my humans. Did you need help in the bathroom?I currently live with my foster brother who's 16 months old and my foster sister who's almost 4. We have a good time together playing in the yard and in the living room. My foster brother likes to play rough but I don't mind and will easily lay on my back so they can play with me.I haven't learned how to go on long walks yet because I'm in heartworm treatment. I don't like the crate but sleep in the bathroom because it's nice and cool and dark in there. I'm housetrained so I don't cause a mess. If I need to go out and the doggy door is closed I will come and whimper and touch you with my nose.My foster brother taught me that chasing squirrels is fun! I haven't caught one but it DOES seem fun! I'm getting used to the idea of having food available to me on a schedule. I'm so used to having to search for my food. My foster Mom and Dad are fattening me up since I'm a little thin!I would love to find my furever home. I'm a really good boy with a great smile and just want a human to love me and let me give them kisses. I haven't been around children but I'm kinda big and not really aware of my size so I can knock people over accidentally.Please consider adding me to your home. I promise to give you lots of kisses!
