Tori
My beautiful GSD mix pup was my college graduation gift to myself on May 9, 1992. I literally left Carter-Finley Stadium at NCSU and went straight to the Orange Co. Animal Shelter with my dad to pick her up. She was just 11 weeks old. My wife and I were married later that summer. Tori was an incredibly intelligent, sweet, and loyal girl. While initially she was our "child", it was she who later become more of a friend and mother / caretaker to us as she aged. She welcomed our daughter as "her own" in 1998 and our little lab / pointer "flea market rescue girl" in late 1997. She loved her family. During our years of graduate school she was our source of emotional stability, somehow encouraging us and providing us great joy as we toiled with little. As all good dogs are, she was our true friend, confidant, and protector. Four years after her passing she is most sorely missed. We still love you Tori! Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
