Sheila Marie
You brought so much into my life. You were not only my dog, you were my bestfriend. You slept by my bed each night, and every morning you waited for me to get up and start the day together. I knew you were feeling bad when you did not meet me at the door when I came home from work. My heart was breaking, and I think you knew this. You washed my face that last night we had together. I feel you were trying to comfort me, other than me comforting you. You would take that paw and put it up on my leg to rub your feet. You loved that, and I use to laugh at you. I miss you and my heart has a hole in it that cannot be replaced. I know that you are in heaven with all the other dogs that have gone on, but please wait on me and we will be together again. I think of you everyday and I love you! You will always be "My Girl" and know that you were loved so much and will be remembered!

Shelby
Shelby joined our family right after Thanksgiving 2014 as a foster but it didn't take too long to know she needed to stay. She was nearly nine but still discovered the fun (for us at least) of dressing up in Christmas collars, having Daddy bake her a beef bone and going to the Dairy Queen on her 9th birthday for an ice cream cone. We knew we probably wouldn't have her very long but didn't count on her developing a brain tumor after a few months. Shelby was only with us for four months but she packed a lot into them. We miss you Shelby Girl but I know you'll be with the rest of the pack at the Bridge.

Sherman
On August 17, 2007, Sherman left the good care given to him by German Shepherd Rescue and entered our lives. He was only 65 lbs. when we got him. He quickly grew into his body and weighed 130 lbs. He was truly a gentle giant. His left front paw had cancer and we had it amputated 5 years ago. He adjusted fine and had a fun-filled life. He recently got cancer again and it finally got the better of him. He will always be forever in our hearts. Thank you German Shepherd Rescue for Sherman! He was my handsome buddy!

Shiloh
Folks,

I adopted Ilsa whom I later
renamed to Cheyenne and then ultimately Shiloh on July 4, 2001. She was
born on April 18, 2001. She developed pancreatic cancer and was euthanized
Apr. 07, 2011. She was just shy of 10 years old. She had a wonderful life
as part of our family.

She had an unbelievable personality, never bit or even growled at anybody in
her life. She was gentle with my grandkids and my wife's tiny Chihuahuas
and other munchkins. She even went to nursing homes to be with the
Alzheimer patients who really enjoyed her visits. They couldn't remember
her name so they just called her 'Big dog'. I remember one time I didn't
bring Shiloh with me but brought a toy poodle instead. The patients asked
where 'Big dog' was and I told them that this was 'Big dog'. I had given
her a bath and she shrunk! They all started crying. That's when I learned
one needed to be completely honest with Alzheimer folks.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to adopt Shiloh and
want you to know I have had a wonderful past 10 years with my girl.

Shotsey Ann
This is such a wonderful note telling us where our loving pets go. Shotsey was very much our little girl she was so full of life . She brought so much joy to our lives. She was my very good buddy she would be there to greet me when i come home from a hard days work smiling a waging her tail she was always glad to see me come home. She had so many ways to show her love now she's gone and all we have are memories of the wonderful times we had with her. As we grow old our pets are more like children .My wife and I truly miss her with all our heart . It is so hard to lose a friend like our Shotsey was. She will always be there in our memory. We love you Shotsey
