Benny Boo.. The day you came into my life was truly a blessing. I am glad the woman that rescued you from the pound had no idea you were over 60 lbs (weight restriction at the apartment). I am also glad the vet never told me how bad the heartworm was that you had. If she did, I might not have had you treated for heartworm. Then again you had my heart when pushed your nose between my head and the couch and wiggled your body in between me and the couch till I was using your tummy as a pillow. You brought so many smiles to mom, grandma, janet, me, and every one else’s paths you crossed. You were truly the best first dog a person could ask for. I am sorry my words don’t do your life justice, but know in your heart you were deeply loved. I am sorry we had to let you go, but to see you in pain hurt too much. So off to the rainbow bridge I sent you. RIP 11/24/10
Bentley (GSRA alum 2018) was found in a Bojangles parking lot, in bad shape. After being fostered, he came to us on December 30, 2018. Bentley was a happy boy, always had a ball nearby to chew on...and occasionally let you throw for him to get. He loved to lay on the AC vent looking out the window, with a ball nearby. He crossed on August 16, 2024.
Blaze
The short time we had together was never dull, you made me smile when i was sad. We were strong as one,now run free my beautiful boy, until we meet again. Our beloved German Shepherd Bogey (9) recently passed due to a hemangiosarcoma that suddenly ruptured. Our family still misses him every day.
