~3 years old.  Good with older considerate kids, dogs and cats.

Dear Diary, Day one of rescue by the compassionate people with GSR&A. I'm exhausted and feel like I've run a marathon but I escaped the shelter with help from a lovely volunteer and was transported to a caring home. I didn't really want the bath, ear cleaning, and nail clipping but I endured without much protest. Enjoyed meeting the kids that live here and I like following them around to see what they are up to. Didn't feel like eating much and I'm not happy about sleeping in this cage but I'm too tired to whine much.

Day five after rescue by GSR&A. Seriously did not want to go to the vet! However, my sweet disposition won all their hearts and I was coddled and loved upon and that felt heavenly. Evidently, I'm in pretty good shape but need to take some meds for a cough and runny nose. I still don't feel like eating much but I am enjoying short walks, hanging out in the yard with a crazy beast called Dogzilla, and trying to sit on the children's laps. I think I've impressed my foster family by being potty-trained already. The little people don't like me to chew of their fuzzy stuffed things.

Day ten after rescue by GSR&A. Wow, I can't believe my luck to be saved by such a wonderful group. But doggone today was another exhausting day! I thought it was a holiday weekend but I guess around here that means chores. I had to supervise yard work, you'll see me peaking over the fence to give directions. I tried out the trampoline with the kids. Dogzilla is relentless about running, chasing and chewing but I've tried my best to fend her off or play along. That crazy beast needs to be on medication! Let's not forget meeting Satan's spawn, aka the cat. Oh that fuzzy demon looked and smelled like someone I needed to get to know a little better. But when he whipped out his claws and whacked me in the nose I decided he wasn't worth the effort to befriend. Finally, tried to cool off in the water bucket. Long day and I think I might actually like this enclosed bed thingy esp when I get a late-night snack when I go in.

Day 21 after rescue by GSR&A. I'm feeling great and still can't believe my luck! I'm finally eating better and have more stamina. I've tried really hard to be a great house guest. I still need to work on my manners because I really want to hop up on the furniture and snuggle into the beds. I'm pretty good with the little people (ages 5-10) and don't mean them any harm but they make me so excited that I still need supervision and to learn to respect their personal space. I still have to stay in the crate when my people leave during the day but I am making sure to be super good at night when I am left out to sleep beside the bed. I think I am ready to find a family of my own to love!
