Thank you for your interest in fostering for GSRA. Fostering is a very rewarding experience and we are excited that you are considering joining our team. Please allow at least 30 minutes to complete this application, there are a lot of questions and a lot of things to think about.  This in depth questionnaire is not meant to scare you.  Fostering in general, let alone fostering a German Shepherd Dog, is time consuming, challenging, rewarding, and sometimes heart breaking.  A good Foster has a lot of patience and a great sense of humor.  Prior foster experience is not a necessity, but having an open mind, being willing to learn from more seasoned Fosters and having the ability to roll with the punches are essential.  That all said, find a comfy chair grab a cup of coffee, and begin the journey to becoming a valuable GSRA Foster.
