Our sweet Lacy went over The Rainbow Bridge January 2nd. She was the love of my life and I miss her everyday. She gave us 13 years of love and companionship. Run free Lacy. We will see you on the other side. Love, Mom and Dad We had to say goodbye to our sweet girl Eva in the final hours of December 19th. She was ten years old and a beautiful girl on the outside and the inside. She and I adopted each other in July, 2011 during a particularly difficult time in my life. She needed me too. We bonded quickly and she stuck by me through thick and thin. Three years ago she also willingly adopted my new husband into our little family and made him a doting doggie daddy for the first time in his life. She loved to snuggle and cuddle. She also loved to be outdoors playing, hiking or looking after my niece and nephews as they played. And she really loved her treats and her treat kong! She was simply the most amazing dog I've ever had and she left us way too soon. We love you Eva and we will always miss you. We said goodbye to Teddy. We are thankful for the years we had with him....he was so chip, protective, and he gave the best hugs. He is and will be deeply missed. Class of 2010. My family and I adopted our best friend from German Shepherd Rescue 11 years ago and we lost him tonight to cancer, July 11, 2017. Oliver was a loyal friend that will never be forgotten, we shared so many happy memories. When company would come over to visit they would be amazed that Oliver could open the screen door by himself, oh, I could tell so many wonderful stories, but I might better save that for another time. Thank you German Shepherd Rescue for allowing my family to give Oliver his forever home. RIP Oliver On August 17, 2007, Sherman left the good care given to him by German Shepherd Rescue and entered our lives. He was only 65 lbs. when we got him. He quickly grew into his body and weighed 130 lbs. He was truly a gentle giant. His left front paw had cancer and we had it amputated 5 years ago. He adjusted fine and had a fun-filled life. He recently got cancer again and it finally got the better of him. He will always be forever in our hearts. Thank you German Shepherd Rescue for Sherman! He was my handsome buddy!
