COURTESY LISTING - Please contact person below with inquiries. ~11 months old. Good with dogs. Cats TBD. Not good with children Franklin County Humane Society Hi, my name is Jaeger. I may not look 100% German Shepherd but I sure do have the attitude of one. My foster mom wasn't sure why I didn't like strangers coming near us at adoption events. She knew what a cuddle bug I was at home so she took me to a dog trainer. She told us "That's what German Shepherds do - they protect." So my foster mom said we must find me a home with a family that doesn't mind if I protect them from strangers. I will just bark at them if they don't belong, but when you tell me they are friends, then I am fine. I have lots of energy so my new family should be pretty active. I love to go on walks and play with the other dogs here. I also love to swim, that's the best. I like to chew too so my foster mom makes sure I have lots of toys. I've been around cats a bunch of times and I don't mind them at all. I am about a year old and just a little over 40 pounds, not too big and not too small. I am neutered, micro chipped and up to date on all my vaccines. House broken and crate trained too! I like kids but my foster mom says maybe they should be a little older.
