UPDATE: ADOPTED ~5 years old. Good with Dogs. Kids and Cats TBD. (COURTESY LISTING) Date Posted: 10/21/2014 Meet Taylor. A five-year-old, beautiful, full-breed female German Shepherd. Taylor is an intelligent, loving and energetic Shepherd that is accustom to both indoor and outdoor settings. She is fully crate trained, loves car rides and is trained to not jump on furniture or bedding. She has been extremely well taken care of her entire life and easily follows commands including: sit, down, stay, come and “let’s walk” (her favorite). It is with heavy hearts that Taylor’s current family seeks to find a new, loving home for this amazing dog. Owners are currently expecting a surprise 2nd child and want to ensure Taylor finds a home that can provide the attention and daily exercise she thrives on. That said, Taylor requires at least one long walk per day or outside exercise – and she is the BEST companion anyone could ask for. Taylor is very people-friendly, but a home without small children will be ideal since she is a large, high-energy dog. Taylor is approximately 100 pounds with a gorgeous, show-worthy appearance. Lovely black, tan and red markings with a medium, soft coat. Taylor is fixed, but we have requests for puppies constantly based on her beauty and demeanor. Many Shepherds in Taylor’s lineage are Schutzhund-trained and directly from Germany. In fact, several of Taylor’s siblings were trained as government DEA dogs. Also important – Taylor is good around other dogs, loves to play outside and is generally not the alpha dog during socialization. Taylor has regular wellness checkups and is fully up-to-date on all shots, etc. No hip dysplasia or other known health issues. **Owners are willing to provide 6 months worth of food for Taylor if the right home is found**.
