German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Young : : Medium
SISSY ~2 years old. Good with kids and dogs and cats. Needs a companion animal. Hi there, my name is Sissy and I am the most adorable, affectionate little girl you will ever meet! I am a proud member of GSRA as one of the "honorary" shepherds! You see, I may or may not have shepherd in me, but I was fortunate enough to be saved from the shelter and that is all that matters!! I am ready to find my new home. I am a petite little girl and weigh 47 pounds. I am solid black and have a very soft coat. I am athletic and like to run but can also be calm and just hang around with you. I am very smart too (I MUST have some shepherd in me!!) I am a bit intimidated by new situations but I adjust quickly! I am just a very happy girl looking for a family to love. I totally adore other dogs and would be extra thrilled if I can find a home with another dog to play with me. I'm a very attentive girl and I'm looking for guidance. I will make you very proud, I promise!! From foster mom: Sissy is a delightful little girl. She is young and eager to learn. She is crate and house trained. Since she was not exposed to much in earlier life. new situations still make her a bit nervous. We are working on leash walking and she is doing better not pulling. Sissy is very food motivated, so training should be fairly easy! Sissy will sit in front of you and gaze up at you with her tail wagging! She is just looking for attention!! Sissy will do best with an active family. She would probably gain confidence if she had another friendly dog to play with and learn from. Sissy is a great little dog! If you are looking for a shepherd type dog but in a more compact package, look no further, Sissy is your girl!
