SADIE ~8 months old. Good with dogs, children over the age of 8, and dog savvy cats.
GSRA Adopts in NC, SC, & VA ONLY
Sadie is living on a horse farm with five dogs, five horses and four Bantam Chickens. She loves to run, play, fetch and swim in the pond. Sadie is learning commands and she is quick to catch on. When asked to kennel, she walks right in. She sleeps all night and is well house trained. Sadie gets that nose on the ground when she hooks a scent. I will begin working with tracking in two weeks. She is the cutest puppy. She has large pads (feet) so she may get larger. Her ears are large and floppy. They are not going to stand up. Of course, she is seven months and eats, eats, eats. Although her ears are floppy, the rest of her is true German Shepherd. Now she howls like a hound but it is an adorable sound and she is not real vocal. What would I like for Sadie's potential home - a place with lots of room to run and play. She likes other dogs. She lives with two Senior dogs and does well. I have two large GS who are six and seven. They keep her in line. My two year old Kitzel is her playmate. She is truly a constant companion. Sadie is young and she is so willing to learn. I do hope that special person, couple or family is looking for a precious, loving, active puppy like Sadie.
It is GSRA policy that we do not adopt dogs under the age of 1 to families with children under the age of 8 years old.
