Phineas ~7-9 months old.  Good with older considerate children, dogs and cats.  Needs a companion animal.

Phineas is a 7-9 month old GS mix puppy who was held in isolation at the shelter for 3 months! He is very healthy now but because of his isolation, his mental/emotional growth was stunted. He is mentally about 5 months old, which means he is mouthy and not so housetrained. We have joyously been working on all these issues. Phineas came through his shelter ordeal with his spirits high and personality still very sweet. He knew nothing about living in a house it was a totally alien concept to this pup. Phin loves to be with you and will shadow you all over the house. He is a very sweet boy who is trying to catch up to his physical age. He'll be there soon!
He is very active and loves to play. Phin tries to remember what you said to do ("no bite") and learns quickly. He loves to give kisses and is very sweet once his energy is drained. He lives with 7 dogs and 5 cats and has learned doggie manners but still likes to play with the cats. He shows no aggression but is certainly playful with them. One cat comes back for more so it can't be too bad! Phin is mostly house/cratetrained. With a little more time these issues will be in his past.
Phineas definitely needs a fenced in yard and probably a playmate/doggie friend that can show him how to be a good dog. His personality is really the best! Phin is a happy, playful, energetic, sweet, sweet monkey pup! With a little patience and a lot of love this "rough-around-the-edges" pup will be a beautiful, loyal, diamond of a dog in no time!
