Hailey is a sweet little sable shepherd that found herself incarcerated at a high kill shelter. Hailey was emaciated, a mere 39 pounds, filthy, stinky, and had chunks of fur sticking out everywhere. She was also out of time. When we met Hailey we just knew that she deserved a chance. She was so happy to be out of her kennel, and was just beside herself with excitement. She eagerly came up to us wanting attention. We welcomed her into GSRA.

Hailey is a gorgeous girl!! A good bath and some groceries and she is already looking so much better! Hailey gained 10 pounds in 3 weeks. She has a few more to gain. Hailey is not a very big girl, and will probably be about 55-60 pounds at ideal weight. Hailey is a young girl too, the vet estimates her to be about 1.5 yrs old. Hailey had a pretty dark sable coat, a beautiful mast and very striking eyes. She will be a stunner when her coat gets healthy in a few months...it is very thin and spares right now.

So now for the personality: Hailey is awesome!!! She is a sweet little girl who just wants to be near her people. She will run up to you and sit in front of you looking up, eager for acknowledgement. She is one of the happiest dogs I have ever met! She trots around with a bounce in her step, wagging her tail, and just delighted with life. It took her a few days to discover the tennis ball...it is now her favorite prize! Hailey has been going to work with me and is very well behaved...she likes to lay in the big fluffy dog bed in the office. Hailey loves the other dogs, and would love a furry playmate! Hailey also seems to be fine with cats. She is just an all around great girl!!

Hailey was recently spayed, and needs to undergo HW treatment. Hailey is a great girl!! Hurry up and meet Hailey, she won't last long!!
