German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat) : : Male (neutered)
~1 year old. Good with older considerate kids and dogs. Cats TBD. Odie is the sweetest dog a first foster could ask for. He loves to play with his older foster sister Henri (a GSRA Alum) and his little foster brother Stubby who is a dachshund. Henri and Odie play tug of war and run and chase each other in the back yard and he loves to lay on the back porch and watch for squirrels in his yard. Odie is well behaved in the house and will play with his toys and leave the grownup toys alone. Odie also lives with three birds (2 Cockatiels and a Sun Concure). At first he was very interested in the birds but after a couple of days of firm "NO" he doesn't even pay attention to them anymore. Odie is a wonderful watchdog and alerts me to anyone walking down the street and if anyone is in his yard. He is truly a sweet soul. One other great thing about Odie is that he doesn't shed!! His black hair is like silk and he is so soft. He makes trips to PetSmart with his foster siblings and always lets people pet him. Odie likes to lay at your feet in the evening and sleeps at the end the bed and doesn't stir until the alarm goes off. Odie's human family consists of his foster mom and 2 daughters, age 14 and 18. Odie is currently working on his commands. So what do you day? Looking for a sweet boy to spend your day with??
