Hi! I'm Sadie. Are you lonely? Do you need a traveling companion through life? If so, can I call "shotgun"? I LOVE to go for car rides and am ever so happy if my foster mom let's me ride buckled up in the front seat. I love to go for hikes with her, or pack walks with my foster humans and fuzzy sisters.
Sadie is a country girl who needs to live in the city. She understands the humans are in control in the house and while on the leash, but due to her background will chase small animals while off leash. She is protective of her perceived domain, house, pack, yard etc and bonds very easily with her family.
Sadie is a sweet gentle girl who is just a gem! She LOVES to cuddle with her humans, either on the couch or the bed; either are fine with her if its ok with you!
Sadie is learning some basic puppy manners and some commands. She learned after a few days that when I gave the command "crate" she was to go upstairs and into her crate, just as her foster sisters went to theirs. She knows to ring the bells at the back door if she needs to go out, and if we ask them if they need to go out, she runs to the door and rings the bells.
Sadie does great on walks, doesn't pull on the leash and will return to you if you think she is too far ahead of you on the leash. She has been dog, cat and pot bellied pig approved. She is great around kids in age of 4 and up, and with Seniors with a walker and cane. (I do not have any younger "test" kids, but I am sure she would do well with them too.)
Sadie loves to go for car rides, is an awesome companion on walks and rides. She knows to sit and wait for treats and meals. She will wait until she is given the release command for her meals.
Sadie longs to do nothing more than please her humans. If you are looking for a sweet, gentle girl then Sadie is certainly a girl you will want to meet. But be careful.....you may just lose your heart to her when you look into her sweet brown eyes! :-)
