(1-2 yrs old) Good with dogs and kids, needs a companion animal. Cats TBD
UPDATE
Believe it our Molly is heartworm negative, a miracle for this sweet baby. She's also great in the house when left alone which is good because she doesn't do well in a crate. She has lived with a Chihuahua and did fine, so small dogs are ok. She's also been great with the children she's met but she can be a bit fearful so we recommend a home with older children over the age of 10.
Hi Everyone!! Meet Molly, a shy, sweet, and very intelligent 1-2 yr old shepherd mix. She has had a rough start to life and needs a family to show her how a dogs life is supposed to be. See we found her behind our property and when we investigated further we found 11 newborn puppies!!
We were able to find forever homes for all the pups and Molly deserves all the credit for raising 11 healthy puppies against all odds. She has a terrible scar on her neck where a collar was once embedded, but she just thinks it gives her added character. It takes her a little while to warm up to people (unlike dogs) however, once she does her personality will make you melt. She is great with dogs but we haven’t had a chance to test her with kids or cats just yet. She does not like to be put in a kennel, but does well left out as long as she can look outside. She loves to run and is quite a goof. Molly is house trained. She definitely still has a lot of puppy energy as she loves to race around the yard with her friends and talk to you when she is in need of some attention. Molly would be best in a home with another dog, to help guide her and to play with. She needs someone who can spend time with her and give her lots of affection. Molly is only about 40lbs, but will most likely put on a few pounds. She does pretty well on a leash, only tends to pull to get further away from the street. She has more confidence on a leash when walking with other dogs. She is not food aggressive at all and is extremely gentle when taking treats. Molly has a big heart and is searching for a home where she will be loved forever and not have to worry about being on her own ever again. Can you help Molly and be that home for her?
