This cheerful, energetic puppy was found as a stray in early April. Despite reports to the area animal shelters, vet clinics and classifieds (including Craigslist), no owner was located, so this happy-go-lucky girl is now looking for a forever home, preferably one with another dog who has play energy to spare.

She has been spending her days in the house with a variety of other dogs -- small and large, male and female -- and she plays enthusiastically with all those who are willing to play with her. She would not be suitable for a household with cats. She has been spending nights in an indoor-outdoor, 6' welded-wire kennel, and except for some digging in the screenings, she has not made any sincere attempt to escape.

This affectionate, attentive pup has clearly had good care -- she arrived flea-free with a nice coat and in good health, with sparkly teeth -- but she has not had much puppy parenting. Her foster mom, an instructor at Paws4Ever, has been showing her some basics, but this pup would be best with an experienced dog owner who offers consistent leadership.
