Date Posted: 2/16/2012 Osito is a 74 pound, mixed, large breed, short haired dog: German Shepherd and Lab with a beautiful black and brown coat, and floppy ears. His eyes are this gorgeous orange-brown color! He is very playful, loves attention, car rides, walks, playing fetch, running around, and most of all wrestling. He loves being outdoors and tolerates cold weather rather well, and loves the rain! He does well around children of all ages, especially young children. We have never had any problems with him biting anyone or knocking anyone over. He has been trained to sleep in his crate at night, not to mess with the trash cans, or go into the kitchen, or sit on furniture/beds. He is house trained and potty trained. He is always excited to see us when we get home. He really needs an active family that can give him a lot of love and spend a lot of time with him. Osito needs assistance to further his socialization skills with other dogs. He needs a strong pack l eader that can exercise him regularly in order to avoid unwanted tendencies such as digging.
