Date Posted: 1/1/2012 Duke is a wonderful dog. He was born in Okinawa Japan. We don't know his full history except that he was owned by another family before us and was returned to the breeder after a couple of days. The breeder did not disclose any further information. We have had him nearly a year and have noticed that he is very scared and anxious. I am not knowledgeable enough to care for a dog in this condition. I have tried to get him help through trainers and seek medical care, but nothing has changed. Our latest issue is that he jumps our back fence. We are renters and are not allowed to change what is built, so we purchased an invisible fence hoping it would keep him in the back yard, but it has not worked at all. My husband and I work full time and are unable to provide more than we have for Duke. He needs a family or person that has experience with dogs like him. He is very sweet and I love him. I want him to go to a place that can provi de him with everything he needs. We are willing to get him neutered before going to a new home. He is up to date on all his vaccinations also. Thank you.
