Dakota is a well mannered dog who is house broken. She has been raised with cats and gets along well with ours. She once took kittens and tried to nurse them. Not sure how she would react to a older strange cat. We bring lost kittens in all the time and she has never shown any anger to them. She can shake and high five. When our other female dog weened her puppies Dakota took them and started nursing them which caused her milk to come n. She nursed them til about 4 months of age. I have one of them still that i am trying to find a home for also. They are very close. I do not have small kids so i do not know how she would react to them. She does not bother my one year old grand daughter when she is here, but thats not often. She is protective but calms down when you tell her too. She listens very very well. At times she has shown a little food aggression with our other dogs. I think she just doesn't like the others bothering her when she eats. She is a sweet dog but i can not keep her any longer. My kids brought her here and then grew up and left her with me and i am now in a wheelchair and can't tend to her like she deserves. I hope someone could give her a good home. I can't take her to the shelter here because its a kill shelter and she deserves better than that.
