(1-2 yrs old) Good with dogs, large and small, cats and kids. Needs a companion animal.

Meet Eve, a very sweet 1-2 year old girl we took in from Guilford County. Eve is a very energetic girl, she's still a puppy at heart and likes to chew and play, another dog is a must for this girl or her energy could overwhelm you! She just loves to play with her foster siblings but also loves her humans, she's very much into cuddling and being loved on, she'll follow you everywhere too! Eve may have had a rough time before being rescued as she is quite submissive with people and may cower if if she gets nervous, she's very funny about going outside (almost like she's afraid she won't get back in!) so sometimes you have to get her by the collar and she'll literally do a belly crawl! Once in a while she may accidentally pee while she's cowering but she won't ever have to worry about being hurt again so maybe in time she'll get over that. She is house and crate trained, she's great with d ogs and people and good with my cat who doesn't run, we can't gaurantee she wouldn't chase a cat for fun but she doesn't seem to have any ill intentions and is pretty easy to call off if she is chasing. Unfortunately Eve is heartworm positive but we'll have her treated as soon as the medication becomes avaialble.
