German Shepherd Dog (medium coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Young
(1 1/2 years old) Good with dogs, cats, and kids. NOT good with small dogs. Needs a companion animal. Hey there! Miss Jinga here! I am a super friendly and sweet girl who is fairly new to the rescue. I am a young girl, and I weigh about 60 pounds, and shouldn't get much bigger. I really like it here at my foster home. I have several other 4 legged friends to play with! I really like to snuggle on the couch with my foster mom. I adore getting attention from my people!! I have a happy, and eager expression. I am already spayed and HW negative. I love going for rides in the car, as I love adventure. I am also crate trained. I would prefer to be loose, but mom says I have a tendency to pick up things that don't belong to me when she is gone. What can I say, dish towels are fun to play with!! I crate really well, and don't fuss. Mom says when I am a bit more mature, I will probably be fine in the house by myself. So what do you think?? Want a bit of fun and entertainment added to your family?? If so, please come and meet me!! Are you looking for a sweet, confident, and loving family member to join your family?? Well, look no further, here is Jinga!! Jinga is a gorgeous 1.5 year old black and silver female. She has very pretty orange eyes, almost the color of root beer. She loves everybody!! Jinga is a very sweet girl, who only wants to be near her people whenever possible. Jinga is young and energetic, and ready for whatever adventures you might have planned. Jinga is very food motivated, and seems to have a real willingness to please, so training should be a breeze. She is a funny little girl...she can be running around the yard just enjoying life, but if you call her, she will come charging over and sit in front of you and look at you with rapt attention. She can entertain herself, but really wants her people to interact with her. Jinga loves other dogs, and loves to run and wrestle and have them chase her around. She is very fast and nimble, and will need an active household and a fence d yard to let her expend her energy. Jinga would probably do best in a home with another medium or large dog, as she seems to be a bit too rough with her play for small dogs. A cat free home is probably best. I have not "cat-tested" yet, but Jinga seems to exibit a strong prey drive.........the squirrels and birds in the yard are all fair game for her! Jinga is still a bit puppyish in her behavior, and has a tendency to grab dish towels, sneakers, and anything else that seems to be a toy. She loves toys, but is not good with stuffed toys, as she likes to shred them!! Overall, Jinga is just a wonderful dog....happy, alert, interactive and friendly! A true gem. She will make someone very happy!! More about JingaGood with Dogs, Good with Kids Current Scheduled Events:
