Date Posted: June 26, 2011 I have an incredibly beautiful male German Shepherd who is looking for his forever home. Loco came to me from an abusive situation. His story is heartbreaking. After being raised his entire life in a loving home, the father of the household died, leaving his wife and two small children destitute. When they lost their home, Loco went to live with a man who kept him chained to a tree and who regularly beat him. Recently, I was allowed to buy Loco (along with another abused dog) from this man, and I've made it my mission to find him a real home - a home filled with love, enough food to eat, and a soft bed. Loco is a special dog who needs to be with someone familiar with dogs, someone who understands the German Shepherd breed, who will take the time to win this old boy's trust and respect. Loco should not be in a home with male dogs, cats, or very small children. He is exceptionally gentle though, despite all that he's been through, and needs to have his faith restored in humanity. Please call or email if interested. I also have the other dog that was rescued along with Loco. She is a female pit bull mix, and she is about twelve weeks old. She is also up for adoption.
