Look out world... Here I am!  It is Nicki, a fearless high energy puppy who is all about playing, eating, rolling around in the grass and chasing squirrels.  In other words, I am all puppy.  Currently I'm going through a phase, I love to eat sticks, rocks and all the flowers in the garden.  My foster mom is quick to stop me but as soon as she isn't looking I grab the first thing I can sink my teeth in to. It's a good thing I can make her laugh with my antics!  She did mention that I'm a fast learner though, I can even sit for cookies now!  With some good obedience lessons I should be able to listen even better.  I am learning to walk on my leash but there is no question that I would rather run free.  The larger the yard the better, because not only does it give me the freedom I need but it gives me the room to tire myself out... only after many hours of play time of course.

I play very well with my doggie sister in my foster home.  She is extremely tolerant of my nipping her tail and fur but will eventually give me a look that tells me enough is enough... most of the time I even listen to her!  We explore together for hours and I enjoy the close bond we have quickly developed.  I think I would make an excellent doggie sister myself.  I am not quite house trained yet, but I'm still pretty young; I'm well on my way though.  After a long day of play, I do enjoy sleeping in my crate, although I tend to "sing" loudly when I first go in.  That's only because I'd rather be outside still playing, but once I realize I'm in the for the night, it is easy to settle down and quickly fall asleep.

I would love to find my "furrever" home with someone who has lots of time to spend with me teaching me new things and allowing me to be the energetic puppy that I am.
