(9 months old) Good with dogs. Kids and cats TBD

Minnie came to me from the Forsyth shelter. She was apparently a stray that a family had found and decided to drop at the shelter. However, she came to the shelter very clean and the family was crying as they went away so we think she was just dropped off. She was not spayed and her fingernails were untrimmed so it is possible that someone could just not afford her anymore.
Minnie is such a sweet dog with a great personality. She has been great straight from the shelter. Minnie enjoys playing a lot. She has been hanging out with her much larger foster sister, and she keeps right up. However, when we come inside she just wants to lie down and hang out with her people. Minnie loves car rides and walks. She is pretty good on a leash, but if she gets excited she will pull a little bit (she is so small though that even this is manageable) She is very affectionate, but that make her a bit of an attention hog! We have been working on good manners and not jumping. You have to watch her or the next thing you know she’ll be up and your couch or bed snuggled up. She can sit, come and she is working on laying down on command (you would think it’d be the easier one!), but she has a lot of potential for training and picks up on things very quickly. Minnie does tend to bark, but it is only when she hears something out of the ordinary. I’m sure it doesn't help with her large radar dishes. We have been working on it, but it has been slow with so many dogs in my neighborhood. Other than that, she is so easy to take care of. She seems to be good with other dogs. She plays a little hard with little pups, but never anything mean or aggressive. She does not live with children, but she has visited with a couple and did great.
