German Shepherd Dog : : Female

Dixie is a white german shepherd who loves to run, unfortunately she is too smart to stay in our 4 foot chain link fence we have tried an underground fence and she know that if she goes fast enough she can run thru it. We only have 1/2 and acre fenced. She doesn't go far and if no one interferes with her return she comes home quickly but our neighbors dont like it. She is great with kids and other dogs. We rescued her a couple of years ago and she was apparently taught to avoid cats if possible other wise just ignore them. She doesnt like cameras and flashlights, if she sees them she hides or turns away. She loves to dance and sing and talk and run and play. She is smart and warm and loving. She does wrestle roughly with Cedar our smallest dog and has since Cedar was a puppy but has never hurt her. She is leash trained. She is kennel trained but prefers to be out of her kennel.
