Hello world! Please meet Angel! Angel has had some big adventures in her young life - most recently, she broke out of jail - no seriously, she did! Angel started out as an owner-surrender to the shelter back at the end of June. Well she assessed so nicely that she was picked to go into the "New Leash on Life Program" - you've heard of this, I'm sure. Local prisons partner with shelters for dogs and inmates are assigned a dog to take through an eight week obedience program. Dogs that aren't immediately adopted are returned to the partner, in this case the shelter, and we couldn't let that happen to Angel! So GSRA stepped in and brought her into our foster program. Why put a girl to all that trouble and training and then not send her off to live in the lap of luxury?

Angel is sweet GSD mix, about a year old, a medium sized girl, about 40lbs or so. She is eager to please, is crate trained, gets along great with the resident female shepherd. She's been spayed, up to date on shots and, of course - she's already been through obedience training. She is lovely on leash and she's just about gotten the hang of that housebreaking thing! Angel is all fluffed and puffed after her big escape and now she's ready to land permanently in her forever home.
