Hi there! My name is Casey, and I am a stunning little sable girl looking for a home of my very own. Let me tell you a bit about myself. I am approx 2-3 years old, with beautiful sable coloring. The tips of my ears don't stand up all the way, but my foster mom says it gives me a unique and sweet look. I am a petite girl, with a nice trim figure. I only weigh 52 pounds, although they tell me I should put on about 5-8 more. I love, love, love people! I am a total snuggle bug. I love affection, and like to lean into you for additional attention. I really enjoy being hugged and petted. I will sit on you lap while you are watching tv, and happily share the bed with you if it is allowed. I am very eager to learn, and highly food motivated. I am also very playful, and quite athletic. I love to run and play. I have discovered toys, and will even play with them by myself if you are busy. I am a bit mischievous too...I have been know to sna g dish towels and run around the house with them. I like most other dogs, as long as they are not too dominant. I enjoy wrestling and playing chase with some of the other GSDs that I live with. I am housebroken, crate trained, and love to go for car rides. I am always up for an adventure. I am already spayed. Unfortunately, I am heart worm positive, so I will be beginning treatment very soon. Once that is complete, I will be good as new. So what do you say, do I not sound almost perfect?? I look forward to meeting you and possibly joining your family.

From foster mom: Casey is an absolute delight. She had a very rough start to life...left alone as a yard dog, and was rarely fed. Yet, despite her obvious neglect, she has a stellar personality. She craves human interaction and affection, and is exceptionally sweet and loving. Everything seems new to Casey. She was initially terrified of the hardwood floors, but now races around like a champ. She is very food motivated, and is constantly focused on her human, so training should be fairly easy. She has adjusted quite easily to being an indoor dog, and has not even had one accident. She is a very proficient counter surfer...we are working on this. I really can't blame her considering her past...if it smells like food, she is going to investigate. Casey is young and energetic, and very enthusiastic. She is also a very funny dog, and has a perpetual sparkle in her eye. A fenced yard is a must so that she can get ample exercise. Another well adjusted playful dog for h er to interact with would be great as well. Casey seems to have benefited by having some other canine siblings to show her the ropes. Casey is a very sweet dog, and will be an excellent addition to some lucky family.
