(1 year) Just look at those baby browns...who could resist me?!
Have you ever met a dog that just made you smile? Or laugh out loud? You know the kind...you see them and there is just something really, really special about them and makes you go over to them and give them a big kiss on top of their head. Well, Dodger is one of *those* dogs.
Dodger has been with GSRA most of his life - and it shows. He is calm, loving, great with all people and kids and dogs. He's used to crowded, noisy adoption venues, but he's equally at home on the couch or sun baking in the back yard. Dodger is the kind of dog that you load up into the car and take anywhere and everywhere with you. Going to the store? Dodger will just hang in the car and wait for you....going to the park? Cool - Dodger loves going for walks and smelling new smells.... got a ball game to go to with the kids? Not a problem - just pack Dodger up with the kids and head on off...Dodger will happily cheer from the side lines and let all the kids come up and love on him. Seriously, this dog was born to be man's best friend.
Dodger's Mom is a GSRA alum and is a pure bred GSD - yeah, we know, it seems like Dodger's Dad's DNA was pretty dominant :) All his siblings look just like him - a cross between a hound and lab, but with the size of a great dane! At close to 1 year of age Dodger is a whopping 80lbs and still growing! He's taller than most of the GSDs we have and has the largest paws. Whoever Dad is, he is BIG! And Dodger is a chip off the ol' block!
Dodger loves playing with his foster brothers and sisters, but is also just as happy hanging with the humans. He's easy going, fun loving and smart as a whip. He's also an excellent watch dog. Don't let those sleepy, bedroom eyes fool you - Dodger is more than on his game when it comes to keeping watch over his house and yard!
Dodger is the perfect dog in a unique (for GSDs) body, just waiting patiently for his forever family to come along.
