Leo is a beautiful one year old, sweet German Shepherd that was abandoned in the woods in North Carolina. His foster family has two dogs and they get along well - running and playing. He is curious about cats but always gentle. With proper introductions with cats that are dog savvy, Leo may be a good match. Leo knows sit and paw. Although nervous and talkative when meeting new people, once introduced he settles in and is fine with them. His foster parents are working with him on manners and he would like a family that will help him continue his obedience training. Leo would enjoy a home with other playful well behaved dogs. Breed experience and a secure fenced in yard would be a good fit for Leo. Leo will be neutered prior to adoption and will be up to date on vaccines. Although nervous and talkative when meeting, once settled in, he loves playing and running with other dogs. He is curious about cats but always gentle. He is house broken. He would need some obedience training, but would thrive in any kind of home!
