Hello! This is Sampson. We pulled him to foster from a not ideal home that was going to just dump him in a shelter. He is currently being fostered in my home but my male dog does not like him so I am trying to find foster placement or a loving home. Sampson is an intact male dog around the age of one I was told. He will need basic obedience and we are working on some of that and crate training. He is house trained. He is a very intelligent dog that I think would make a good sport dog. He was evaluated by my dog trainer and he is good with other dogs, but will bark at people and dogs at first but only because he wants to play. Once he warms up to you he just wants to cuddle and play. I have not had the chance to evaluate him with children but he came from a home that had older children. I do not recommend cats due to his prey drive. He will need a home who has the time for him for proper exercise and to take on training. I think he is a great dog and has tons of potential, he just needs a chance. Please give this sweet boy a chance! Please do your research on this breed, a home check and vet reference will be required and a release of liability will need to be signed. Thank you!
