**REPUTABLE RESCUE NEEDED ASAP**
Please meet Doja, a sweet ebony angel full of wiggles and love. I like to say she's the perfect mix of imperfect zoomies, soft snuggles, and gentle kisses. Her life has been hard. At some point Doja incurred an injury to her neck and spine, likely due to trauma. She's learned to live with it over time. While it gives her a curious head tilt and slightly wobbly gait, absolutely nothing could overshadow this happy girl's megawatt smile. Doja is one the happiest dogs I know, and she's always ready for a game of fetch or a walk. Due to her injury, a harness is a must; Doja is a graceful walker and listens attentively to my voice. Her love of tennis balls won't ever quit, and she's so proud of herself when she returns her catch to her person. Beloved by all staff and volunteers, Doja is a favorite. She's friendly, bouncy, energetic, a great walker, loves to play with toys, retrieves a tennis ball, and keeps a smile on her face 24/7. If Doja is "imperfect," it'd be a better world if we all were. I'm hoping a rescue or patient person will step up for this good-hearted girl who deserves to live a long and happy life surrounded by love. Doja is 1 year and 7 months old. She weighs 47 lbs. and is HW negative, housetrained, and UTD on shots. She has no issues eating out her food bowl (see video).
