Gauge is a 6 year old German Shepherd. He is a great dog minus the new baby in the house. He has never shown any signs of aggression toward our 3 year old or our 10 month old. Gauge gets extremely anxious around the 10 month old and cannot seem to settle down without being separated from her. This increased anxiety has increased as she has became more mobile. Gauge is great around other animals. We do not feel that it is fair to Gauge separating him all the time from the rest of the family because of his anxiety around children. We have attempted medication for his anxiety as well as increased exercise/play. We are at the point that we are looking to rehome him to a forever kid free home.
